Limited Omniscience (Soon to be Released)
In Sean’s forthcoming work entitled, Limited Omniscience, he addresses thought acquisition ploys and a number of ways to utilize them. Sean’s philosophy of this genre of mentalism may stand in opposition to conventional thinking but he never said he knew everything. This is a collection of new and previous published techniques, ruses and scripts, primarily utilizing blank on both sides cards and business cards. These were sculpted to: improve access to information, normalize methods, heighten drama and enhance memorability. Here are details regarding the techniques and content:
Limited Omniscience:
A novel way to have a clean read of a blank card. It’s more than you think.
Framework:
Previously published, but as this Sean’s preferred script for Limited Omniscience, it is included
Braille Experience:
An intriguing script and handling that makes use of a well-know perceptual ruse to reveal Information in an unforgettable manner. Sean’s handling provides a rationale and subtle convincers.
Subconscious Writing:
Though published in my Wanderer ebook, given the theme, it feels wrong not to include it here. As an antithesis of other contents, this describes a way for your participant to know information that they should not know, thus gifting them with momentary, but limited, omniscience.
Richet’s Folly:
Games are afoot: A self-imposed creative exercise yields a way to see contents hidden inside a box. (Think: Magnussen with no mess)
Suggestion:
A happy accident that yields another solution for the information in box problem (Think again: Magnussen with nothing to hide)
Writer’s Block:
In essence, a book test (read: information test to the pedantic) with no book. The script justifies and normalizes a delightfully bold handling using a stack of business or blank playing cards. It ends with an inspirational after-effect.
Freudian Slip & Manchurian Candidate:
These previously published and simple related ideas lend gravitas to direct information reveals. Due to the inherent structure these seem to be tailor made to utilize with Millard Longman’s technique, which is a modern classic. Millard’s technique is not explained but Sean’s framework is explored. These can be used with most any information acquisition technique.
Anvil:
Adhering to the “you must know the rules before you break the rules” philosophy, this ritual of practical wisdom demonstrates the physical effect of a burden and yields a cathartic release. Gatekeepers beware.
Panacea Process:
A previously published handling that provides a way to know secret information written on a card in a stack.
Sean is looking forward to sharing these with you. Patience is a virtue.
